A sewing kit made with a favorite polished cotton chintz and hand-quilted by me. Inside, I embroidered a felt scissors holder, felt needle book, and pincushion. It also has a ribbon to hold spools of thread and an elasticized pocket. Size is 3.75” x 7.5” (closed) and 14” x 7.5” (open). I always include a few travel sewing tools when I gift these and yours will include a new pair of 5” Gingher Sewing Scissors; a 6” Graph Ruler; a hand-dyed, handmade radish emery (made by Deborah Hartwick of Heartwell Designs); and four vintage small spools of thread (all items shown in photos).
